Short Sale Offers... ideas

I have been looking to make an offer on a short sale... seems like they are the only ones I can make offers with some meat on the bone.

2 questions:

Is a short sale after a foreclosure & auction or is it before?

What are your strategies on making an offer on a short sale & getting a good deal...

I want to move towards a combo of flipping & brrrr short sales for instant return (for more investments) & brrrrr for long term.

Any advice would help

You’ll want an agent experienced with short sales as your buyer agent.  Different situations call for structuring you offer differently, ie. if there are junior mtgs/liens you’ll often ha e to kick in additional funds to satisfy them, above your purchase price.

A short sale can only occur before a foreclosure auction.
