Abandoned Property - BofA
I've driven by a house in good condition in a solid neighborhood (small '50s tract homes) that has plywood over the windows. Yesterday I noticed a small paper on the door. I went up to read it and it said something to the effect of 2/25/12, This home is believed to abandoned. Serviced by BAC Properties. For information about this home, do not contact BAC, contact the owner, Bank of America.
I checked the BofA foreclosure database, and it is not listed. I called BofA and all that was suggested was that I check the database.
Any ideas? Should I try to get ahold of the homeowner? Does this sound like it's already been foreclosed upon? What should I do to find out more info?
Thanks
