obtaining a marketable title

Posted

We purchased a foreclosure about 8 years ago from a bank. We recently put it on the market only to find out that the lender was wanting to consider it a mobile home because the contractor used I beams from a mobile home as part of the raised foundation. There are no vin or serial numbers to be found.  We were then told we did not have a title for the home. Upon contacting the bank, they stated they knew nothing. How do we go about getting a marketable title to be able to sell the property?
