The "What Bank Has the Property" Question Revisited

Since a number of you guys gave me totally valid reasons as to why you are asking this question, I was happy to acquiesce to client requests of this nature moving forward.

However- what do you do when you come across a property profile where it isn't entirely clear?

Example: Property a client is considering shows the owner of record as "Harborview 2005-2"

So far as I can tell, that's a tranche of a fairly crappy Alt-A RMBS that went bust. That's great and all... but if I want to know who the bank is...where do I go next? The MLS comments indicate that buyers must cross-qual w/B of A, but does that mean that this is a B of A owned property? Or just a B of A serviced property? Or does it matter?
