Delayed closing
Ok I am back, I am still waiting on my house to close.
We were scheduled to close on the 15th. It kept being delayed. No real resin was offered. I pushed and learned that the sellers attorney could not produce ll the foreclosure documents. It was foreclosed on within the last 12 months. My attorney want all I's dotted and T's crossed. I do too. The title ins company will not offer title insurance because the seller cant produce the paperwork.
I am getting very frustrated.
Should I walk way from this one? Will I get the escrow money back? I paid the hard money lenders attorney $600 for loan document prep. I paid up front for an ins policy that's in force on a house I don't own.
What does your experience tell you? I have herd nothing in about a week.
