Pre Foreclosure under contract??
When dealing with homes listed on the MLS I understand you deal with agent and agent writes up contract. How does one put a home under contract for off market properties? Is there a universal real estate purchase agreement one can use? Are they state specific?

@Cesar Pimentel Just because it’s a preforeclosure doesn’t mean it’s a short sale. You can use whatever contract you want. Title companies will be more familiar with the contract the Realtors use (CAR contract if it’s in your state of California), but you don’t have to use that one, especially if there’s no Realtor involved.
Probably the best thing to do, since it sounds like you’re fairly new to this, is spend a few hundred dollars and have an attorney draw up a contract that will cover you and that (most importantly) you know will be legal and that you understand.
