Flipping homes in Albuquerque NM

Hello, I’m new to Albuquerque, I just sold my home in Peoria, AZ and did very well on the sale of our home. I’m now renting in Albuquerque and have decided to take the significant amount I made off my home sale and invest in a property to fix and flip. I will be meeting with a local realtor here in town to discuss what I’m looking for this weekend. The reason for my post today is to ask any investors currently investing in or around Albuquerque how the market is for fix and flips out here? Is there a lot of opportunity here? I’m currently looking at a foreclosure in the Rio Rancho area. Just looking to connect with folks familiar with this market who may have some experience or advice to share. Thank you.

The margins are a bit tighter here than other markets as the price per square foot is so reasonable and affordable, so make sure you buy at a great price! Good luck and glad to have you in the ABQ.
