Foreclosure Tittle Insurance
Hi all,
To make a long story short, I found a triplex property on Craigslist that needs a total rehab. I made an offer but I’m not sure if I should move on to the next step based on the reply I got. This is part of what he/she (no name on emails) stated on the reply to my offer “ Also we can't give title insurance for 2 years because the tax foreclosure just passed when it was bought. No other issues we can close. Atty is ready”
Any thoughts?
Thanks

We don’t know what state you’re in, but that is the likely time period for someone to challenge the sale. You’d need to be buying at a decent discount, And verify the proper process/notices were done.
