Buying Foreclosures without being able to see property inside

Hi all! I am currently looking at a couple of foreclosure properties that I cannot see inside of before purchase. I am wondering what are somethings you all would look out for before making a purchase? In particular, how to avoided or prepare for a significant issue like a foundation. Also, what legal ramifications I could encounter? Thanks for any help! Very much appreciated!!!
