Insurance
Just opened my insurance bill from Travelers and it is up 17.6% to $1055! This on top of Multnomah County saying they expect water bills to increase 85% over next 5 yrs.
I have talked to Travelers about their replacement costs but they are unwilling to under insure. Portland area values down 10% last year.
Since they are the only insurer giving earthquake ins to older homes, that is the breaks.
Are you experiencing dramatic insurance increases as of late?
