What questions too ask contractors prior too hire

1st property, Initiating construction work and inquiring as too specific questions too ask potential contractors I’m interviewing for hire... please assist I. E - please provide est timeline ( after review if prop), contengencies on exceeding timeline or cost. - policy if initial estimate exceeded by xxx.xxx amount per guarentee how will exceeded cost be handled - how many current projects at current time .. and all other question per previous experiences , or necessary too ask prior too. Thanks ahead
