Stripping a house in foreclosure
I am curious if any of you who buy homes at auction have ever reported an owner who stripped a house to the police?
And what was the response?
I always expect a little of it (appliances etc) but this last one did stuff over the top and out of spite (I think) for the bank.
Of course, I am the one who deals with it, not the bank. Didn't cost too much money as much of the stuff I would have replaced anyway but just the principal of the thing. It seems to be getting out of hand. People should know that this stuff is illegal.

What scares me are these people were able to buy a home. Adults dont do this.
