Question on freddie,mac reo closing
So we are closing on a freddie mac reo on friday and have been asking the buyers agent for a hud all week.
Today I decided to call the title company to ask. The woman sounded annoyed and said that we cant see one until the seller approves it. She proceeded to tell me its standard practice that we wont get one until the night before or the day of closing. Is that true?
I would at least like to know what they are charging for their "services"

I would ask them flat-out what the title and attorney fees are...they shouldn't have any issue telling you over the phone...
In general, when not using my own attorney, I don't expect to get an REO HUD until -- at best -- about 2 hours before closing, and I often see them the first time when I get to the table.
This is a result of most REO attorneys just being overbooked and uninterested in good customer service.
(Another reason I use my own attorney, btw)
