HUD Question
My offer was excepted on a HUD purchase a few days ago. I had the inspection done yesterday which revealed a new roof had to be put on.. With the snow cover and freeze we just had I couldn't tell how many layers it had. Turns out three layers are on which will not fly! I did buget some but not all for a new roof. With three layers it will be labor extensive and more costly. I was thinking about resubmitting a bid a couple thousand lower then my original. Has anyone gone through this process with HUD or should I take my losses and move forward? Thanks
