Tax Auction: Title Insurance

Cathy Lee
Posted

I bought a county tax auction property end of last year.  Tax Title Services already issued me a certificate of title.  My realtor found me a buyer but now I cannot find a title insurance company to issue a policy.  The title company that originally told us they’d be able to handle this now is backing out and saying they can only issue a policy until after 1 yr. from date of purchase.  Does anyone know of a title insurance company that would be able to?
