Seeking advice on how to purchase tax sales property

Hi, I’ve never posted a question or comment so this would be my first. I’m looking into buying properties via tax auctions. These days, the auction is online so no need to go down to the tax office on auction day. I would really like to collect your advice and comments on how to successfully complete an auction purchase. What should I be looking out for? What kind of research do I need to do on the property? What docs, funds, contacts, etc. do I need before going to auction? What can I expect at the time of the auction? Looking forward to hearing from the BP community. Thank you!
