Getting ready for short sale

Matt Haas
Posted

Great forum first up.

I am getting ready for short sale. I have been reading so many topics on this forum about deficiency judgment, lenders coming after the seller 6 months after the short sale etc.

So I am thinking of going through a RE Attorney. Do I also need to have a Realtor to handle the sale or how/where/which point, should I use attorney and Realtor.

I am sorry I am new to this and have no real knowledge of this stuff.

I am in Tampa, FL area and lender is wells fargo.

Thanks for any advise
