Buying reo from MTGLQ, any luck?

Hi, Ive been following a property for awhile. It was a fannie mae home but goldman (MTGLQ Investors) picked it up last year. House went to sheriff sale last month and reverted back to lender. The attorneys office that represented the lender sent me to an automatic message i could forward a purchase offer to a fax and email. Just wondering if anyone has had success this way reaching an actual person to discuss the offer or is this just to direct calls more than likely? Will I probably have to wait for it to be listed with an agent on the MLS? Any thoughts? Thanks
