Interested in an up coming Sheriff Tax Lien Sale. The Starting bid is $2000. The total amount owed in taxes is $49,678.73. Should I bid on this property, would I be obligated to pay the remaining tax balance? Will there be any other fees that I would be responsible for, should I win the bid on the property? This would be my first time at a Sheriff Sale and I do not know what to expect.
