homeowner has equity, but auction in 2.5 weeks

This homeowner COULD have a little equity however has an auction in 2.5 weeks. House is not listed.

What do you do if they have a bit of equity? Can a short sale still be done?

This house may not have a ton of equity...maybe $20,000
