So, I have a new one I haven't run into. A homeowner is getting more and more angry as his auction date approaches and we have no answer from the lender on if they will consider short sale.

He told me he would trash the house this friday if we didn't get an answer  - Sooo...we're doing what we can for the guy, but his auction is still not for another week.

Are there any articles out there that show lenders are pursuing homeowners if they trash a house?

The BPO was done, and house in pristine condition.
I'd love to just show the guy an article.
