Investor seeks help with North Atlanta foreclosures

We've come to North Atlanta to explore areas we may a. want to invest in; b. want to live in during (a); and c. want to build a permanent residence. We're meeting a couple agents who've offered to help us with residential purchases, but having seen so many foreclosure properties on Zillow I'm curious about the possibility of getting into that world. Although we've bought and sold about 9 or 10 California homes ourselves over the year, and did some research on a an HOA foreclosure there recently, we're definitely newbies when it comes to serious investing, never mind foreclosures. Given the serious pitfalls in that area, I wonder if there are any reputable foreclosure folks in the North Atlanta area, who'd be interested in working with and helping cash investors like us. If any of you have recommendations in this regard, we'd be grateful.

Thank you kindly,

Bernie & Jeannie
