Must do inspection checklist for a short sale

Hello Folks, I am putting an offer for a relatively new, 2013 SFR, in Tampa area that is up for short sale. Is there a checklist that I can use that covers most important things to look for as part of home inspection. I will do a formal home inspection but I want to make sure he/she covers the most critical ones as well. Thanks in advance! Thanks Chetan P.

Chetan P. There really isn't anything I would say is different about a short sale vs a regular retail sale in terms of inspection. You still want an inspector to inspect every single aspect of the condition of the property.

You could assume that if the owner has stopped paying their mortgage enough to cause a short sale then they might have stopped taking care of the property, but that will still be discovered by the inspector during the inspection.
