Can this be right...New FHA guidlines

A Realtor friend of mine told me that part of the new FHA rule allows the homeowner to purchase a home immediately after a successful short sale, if, they are current on their mortgage (the SS one) and all other bills. What is this? Can anyone point to that language or elaborate?
