Credit card judgements for short sale

I am about to close on a short sale house with cash.

The title search shows that there is a $900 credit card judgement and $1900 hospital bill judgement on the seller.

My attorney told me I can just close without paying these two judgments. (I can still get title insurance with the two judgments as exceptions on the policy.)

What can the debtors do after I buy the house? I don't think they are going to put a lien on the house in the future for that little money, right?
