Getting to Loss Mitigator

How difficult is it to get the right person who will handle the loss mitigation process of the particular loan on the phone? I understood that it's close to impossible with large corps, is that so?
What are the steps that need to be taken in order to ensure getting to the right person rather quicker ?

thanks
