Assignable Approval Letter
Last week I received a second mortgage short sale payoff for a lender and it had it did not specify me as the buyer. I did not get too excited because 2nd mortgages often do not name the buyer. Then
yesterday, I received the approval for the senior lender and that too was not buyer specific.
What are the odds I get two assignable approvals on the same deal? On top of that, the spread is really tight since this is a wholesale deal because of the necessary repairs. Moreover, this is the second assignable approval in the last 3 months. I think my luck is changing! Knock wood....
So, fellow short sale investors, have you seen any recent non-specific approval letters lately?
