Reduced price on active-o listing

Hi all, long time reader, first time asker. I came across a short sale on the MLS about 2 months ago that was listed as active -o. I didn't make an offer, assuming it was a done deal. Well I see today that the price was reduced $35k, but still active-o! Has anyone seen this before? At the new price its almost too sweet to not make an offer.
