First, do you own a home now? How will you finance the purchase of your investment properties? Talk to some lenders and find out where you are as far as financing. Drive around, learn about areas where you might want to buy property. I would recommend getting an agent, that is investor friendly, so you can have MLS listings to analyze. Zillow and Trulia can't tell you everything, even though they are a good resource. Read lots on here....lots of good info and advice from people all across the country on BP. They can help you avoid some costly mistakes. Good luck!
