$5K deposit realtor wont return calls

i put an offer in about 5 months ago on a short sale...ive had contact w/ the broker monthly...however i just called him and emailed him and nothing the last few days...his voice mail is full and i cant leave a message...his email gets returned...i went to his office and no one answers although the sign is still on door

the $5k went into escrow...what options do i have?
