Foreclosure Process

Posted

Live in NC - home was auctioned at foreclosure sale on Sep 9 and winning bid was placed at 147K for balance owed of 128K less deliquent payments and legal fees.

Have not received any eviction notice from the mortgage company, just the winning bidder who showed up Oct 1 asking when I will move. I do intend to vacate the property as soon as I can - but shouldn't I receive some legal notification to evict or vacate and some time to do so?

Also is there any chance of recovering some of the difference between what I owed and what the bank (Wells Fargo) received at the foreclosure sale?
