POTENTIAL GREAT DEAL NEED HELP!!
Hello,
I've been noticing a house that has been for sale for quite some time in a great up and coming neighborhood within the north Chicago area. I've done a little research on it and it looks like it will be up for auction next month. Can this house be purchased prior to it going out for auction? How do you guys think I should approach this situation? I'm open to all advise and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

If it's REO, then it's bank owned and you can just bid at the auction.
If it's pre-foreclosure, you can contact a law office specializing in short sale and ask their opinion. You maybe able to just knock and do cash offer. If it's vacant, you can do skip tracing and find the owner and call.
