Trying to understand Auction.com

Im very very new investing and Im looking at houses on auction.com.  I would love to bid on some of these houses but haven't found any financing and honestly Im worried ok more scared about jumping in on my first deal thats a foreclosure not knowing whats wrong with the properties. Any advice would be appreciated.
