REO question, out of state

If im living in NC but found an REO thats a great deal in FL how does this work?

I know I can send in my offer, however if it gets accepted I'm clearly not in the area to sign papers. Can they be sent through the mail? I figured faxing wont work because its not an original. Can I close on the properties out of state some how, along with closing the B-C transaction as well? Id really like to acquire a few properties in other states, but am a bit unsure of the procedure.

Thank you for any info you can share, I appreciate it.

JOHN
