Auction Puchase- foreclosure due to probate

We just purchased a property at the county foreclosure auction. The owner had passed away and the bank eventually foreclosed. After the auction, we accessed the property and there are many of the owners personal items and even a car in the garage. I'm assuming that any potential heirs were given time to get any items they wanted in the probate process. Normally the things we find left behind are junk and we just trash out, but before we start going through these things I wanted to see if anyone else had the rights to the contents.

Has anyone run into a similar situation?
