How to sabotage a short sale?

I have my eye on a house I want for myself. It is a SS in foreclosure but I am being frozen out of the deal by the listing agent trying to sell very low to her friend.
I am willing to pay more but she won't accept my offer. House is vacant and I can't find the HO.
The house is very close to going to auction and because of the numbers, it would actually be a better deal to buy the first mortgage at auction and wipe out the 2nd. The lender has postponed the auction once already.
What can I do to help insure that the SS is not approved so the lenders goes ahead and goes to auction?
