Help Getting a deal i found

Hey Guys, I'm glad to be on here and I've run into something that I'm not sure what to do. I was out driving for dollars and found a home thats 4-8 units. I door knocked got phone numbers and I've worked my way through getting in touch with the bank.  They are saying I need verbal authorization to get permission to discuss matters of the account. His wife has told me that he hasn't made a payment on the home since the housing crash in 2007. Not sure how to get his compliance to get the info i need to try to grab this property. Any suggestions and how to move forward?
