No Bank Notification Was Served - Judicial Sale

Good Day All! For my first judicial sale purchase, I believe a made a sound purchase. After the sale, my first instance was to make sure my purchase was according to all governing laws regarding the sale process. During my review, I found the tax claim office didn't serve (overlooked) a mortgage company, which they also confirmed this. In other words, no service was given to the mortgage company regarding the judicial sale. Questions: (1)What is my next course of action? Do I call the mortgage company? I would think the mortgage company would have received notice during the sheriff or upsale auctions prior to the property making it to the judicial sale. (2) Is a quiet deed my only option? (3) Do I make improvements to the property without a quiet deed? (4) Did I assume this mortgage? Any experience, guidance, good-news stories or advice would be great. Thank-you!!!!!
