REO Lien Question

Account Closed

Posted

I am in the process of purchasing an REO from BANK XXX. There is no lien on the current owner (BANK XXX), but there is a lien on the prior owner who was foreclosed on. The lien is for past due HOA. My main concerns are am I liable for any portion of the lien? Will the lien always follow the property? Are there actions that I should take before finalizing the deal? Thank you for your time.
