Tax sale liens
I just bought my first home from the tax sale and I found out that there is a bail bond lien for $25000 on it, since 1997. I didn't know that the bail bond liens make it through the tax sale, what are my options now?

In MD a judgement lien is only good for 12 years unless renewed. It may be invalid due to age, it may have been paid and never released, or may be gone by operation of law via the tax sale. Check with a local attorney.
Presuming it is valid you may be able to negotiate it down. A lien that old I am sure they would be happy to get any money for it.
