Financing a REO for a personal residence that has no kitchen
I need a little help. My wife and I found an REO we would like to buy but we can't get a conventional because there is no kitchen. How can we buy this house?

How did the house come to have no kitchen? Was the previous owner in the midst of a renovation when s/he lost the house?
I would start with the lender who holds the REO - obviously they lent on the house (kitchen or no kitchen) are would be the most inclined to get their money back out of the venture (and perhaps earn a little from your mortgage).
