need some friendly advice. So I made an offer reo double wide 3 acres didn't look that bad asking price 45000 agreed to 42000. It's in a different state so a little more difficult for me. Sent out a great Inspector and the property has about 10 more work needed than I was hoping for looking for ways to approach the bank about lower price and some repairs they should do. I don't think they understand the condition of what the property is actually in. Thanks for any insight.

@Michael Owens, if they "agreed", at what stage is your Contract, and, what contingencies are specified? If you do have provision to negotiate, then why not just say, "if you don't want to have this work done for me within the price I Offered, then my new Offer based on Inspection is (example) $32k"? You should consider YOURSELF as being in the box seat, not the Bank. Do you have the mindset that will allow you to walk away if they won't compromise? (Because that is my recommendation). Cheers...
