Switching Buyers on a short a sale.
Hello !!! I was wondering if anyone has any success switching buyers on there short sales.
I'm the buyer on the short sale, but we ran into seasoning issues, so we decided to just switch my buyer to be the main buyer of the property and I would get paid outside of closing.
I now have to tell bank, I'm not the one buying. An will need a new approval for the new buyer. The closing is in a week. I would think the bank would not have a problem with it. The terms ahve not changed.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
