This topic could be also for the technology forum. I wanted to get some feedback to see how many people have used websites such as RealtyTrac, Hubzu, or any other subscriber sites besides Zillow to locate foreclosures or short sale properties and see if they are worth it. If you've had any success stories using a particular site please share.

I've used HUD, Hubzu, and Homepath.com successfully for myself as well as my clients. I'm looking into Homesteps as well because I saw a couple of potential deals. The problem now is that inventory is much lower than a few years ago and some banks are now willing to have their asset managers rehab the properties in order to sell them at fair market value. But there are definitely still deals to be had on all of those sites.
