Asset managers...
Does anyone know how one would go about finding out who an asset manager is for a property that isn't listed yet?
There is a vacant property in my neighborhood I have been watching and it looks like it was foreclosed on, went to sheriff sale and was bought back by the bank.
Now it is just sitting there deteriorating. The perfect 1st investment opportunity. I just need to figure out who to contact to buy it...
Any suggestions?
I asked a couple realtor friends and they said there is no way to know until it is listed and that could be a long time... but i thought i would ask here anyway...
Thanks in advance!

Call the bank that it went back to, ask for the reo dept. then ask who the listing broker is for that property. Sometimes, a property gets shuffled around on someone's desk until they are made aware it then you'll find that it'll be listed shorty after.
After they give you the name of the broker, call that broker and tell them to call you once they get the listing from the bank.
That should keep you busy for a little while.
