Question about the process of foreclosure

Hi, I'm new. I just had a question.

My house payment got to be too much to handle, I was forced to change jobs, abandon the house, and move south for work.

The foreclosure sale is tomorrow, I wasn't able to avoid it thus far by doing In Lieu of, or selling it.

What I want to know is, what happens after they foreclose, what am I responsibile for paying? Other than bad credit, does this just seperate me completely from the property, will I have worries coming up down the road because of this?

Im not interested in keeping the house, I just want out, basically I've walked away.

Its in Michigan, if that is required.

I appreciate any replies here, Thankyou.
