Lead time for saving someone from foreclosure?
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this and learning as fast as I can, so please excuse my ignorance! I heard that it's sometimes possible to contact people whose homes are on the foreclosure list and make a deal with them to save them from foreclosure by purchasing the home and catching up their overdue payments.
First question: what has been your experience with this type of situation? Would you recommend it as a way to acquire property?
Second question: assuming this is possible, how much lead time would I need before the auction date? When is it too late to attempt something like this?
Thank you in advance for sharing your experience and advice!
Ellen
