Tax Deed Sale Texas

Hello BP members,

So I know that for a property in TX that is homesteaded, the redemption period is 2 years, and for non-homesteaded it is 6 months.  If I win the tax sale foreclosure at an auction, does this mean that I cannot sell that property for 6 months or 2 years depending on the Homestead status?  What are my options?  I can't seem to get a clear answer on this.  Any help on this is appreciated.  Thanks!
