Problem Closing due to Mold & Appraiser
I have a few Ideas to try and get this done but thought I would look for some more suggestions.
There is mold in the attic of a foreclosure I am trying to buy with FHA 203k.
The appraiser won't go in the attic because he saw mold. (health safety issue)
We got the mold inpection & bid to fix the mold problem, the contractor laughed because it is such a minimal mold issue.
But now the underwriter won't sign off because the appraiser didn't inspect the attic for any other issues, But the appraiser still refuses to go in the attic.
How to resolve?
