Sheriff sale > REO > MLS

During a county sheriff sale a property is not bid on/bought back from the bank and is now an REO property. Typically, what is the time length and the process in which the bank will put that property back into the market and on the MLS? Also, does the bank typically ask market value when initially listing?

Thank you in advance for the help everyone.
